Afgelopen week donderdag is een nieuwe glasvezel verbinding via EuroFiber naar het Serverius datacenter te Dronten afgenomen. Deze extra verbinding is afgenomen om het netwerk van Digital Residence (AS47207) minder afhankelijk te maken van storingen en onze leveranciers . Tevens is hiermee de capaciteit van ons netwerk verder uitgebreid.

Met de komst van deze nieuwe glasvezel verbinding werd het mogelijk om een nieuwe IPv4 & IPv6 Transit af te nemen bij Serverius welke wij maandag in gebruik hebben genomen.

Op het moment is het DigiRes netwerk (AS47207) verbonden met:

• NL-ix

Transits:

• OpenPeering NL-Routing (AS20562)
• JointTransit (AS24785)
• Serverius (AS50673)

Digital Residence B.V. zal blijven investeren in de infrastructuur en de capaciteit van haar netwerk en deze blijven uitbreiden en verbeteren om nu en in de toekomst de beschikbaarheid, kwaliteit, bandbreedte en snelheid te kunnen blijven waarborgen.

A new optical-fiber connection to the Serverius datacentre in Dronten has been taken in use via the EuroFiber infrastructure last Thursday. The Digital Residence network (AS24785) will be less dependent of its suppliers and interference due to this new connection which also increases the capacity of the Digital Residence network.

It also became possible to connect to a new IPv4 & IPv6 Transit from Serverius which was taken in to use last monday.
